Letter from Ian Magee to Mr. Alan Milburn, dated 26 June 1995: The Secretary of State for Social Security has asked me to reply to your recent Parliamentary Question asking about Income Support live load statistics since January 1991. Complete information is available only from May 1991 which was the first quarter in which the Benefits Agency collected information by District Office and Area Directorate. Information in table 1 is for each Area Directorate and in table 2 for the District offices. Copies of these tables have been placed in the Library. I hope you find this reply helpful.
