§ Mr. DorrellThere are no plans for any changes to the regulations governing the concessionary television licence scheme. The regulations require qualifying accommodation to have a person whose function is to care for the needs of the residents and who either lives in one of the dwellings within the group or works on site for at least 30 hours per week. There is no requirement for this person to live on the same floor as the residents. Details of representations from members of the public about specific sheltered housing schemes are not recorded separately.
