asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is the case, as reported in the International Herald Tribune of 12 June 1995, that in autumn 1994, the US Administration "cut off allied access to US electronic intelligence in and around the former Yugoslavia"; and

Whether it is the case, as reported in the International Herald Tribune of 12 June 1995, that in autumn 1994, the US Administration "withheld surveillance data … from its regular bilateral briefings" with the NATO allies in and around the former Yugoslavia; and

Whether they or their NATO allies received any explanation from the US Administration about the withholding of US electronic intelligence and surveillance data and if so what was the explanation.
