§ Mr. Ancram[holding answer, 21 June 1995]: There is no generally accepted, single definition of what is a small and what is a medium-sized business. Where it is necessary to distinguish between small and medium-sized businesses, for example in the presentation of statistical data or in the context of a specific scheme of assistance, the definition used will always be made clear.
