§ Mr. Michael J. MartinThe policy of the two Houses is to recycle all waste matter which can reasonably be segregated and recycled. The process is audited to ensure compliance with the Palace's waste collection contract. Waste which is unsuitable for recycling is taken to an authorised landfill site for disposal. Further segregation before collection is precluded by space and staffing constraints.
