§ Mr. Nicholas BakerWhile the provision of interpreters for the immigration service is generally392W satisfactory, the recommendations of the complaints audit committee are under consideration. A new training package is being devised and a review of the arrangements under which interpreter services are provided to immigration and nationality department is planned under the Department's "Competing for Quality" programme. This review will examine both the quality and cost effectiveness of the arrangements.
