§ Mr. Nicholas BakerThe Government have agreed to receive 1,000 particularly vulnerable individuals and their close dependants from the former Yugoslavia. As at 20 June, 866 principals and 1,177 dependants had arrived. None of these people will be required to return to the former Yugoslavia until it is safe to do so.
In addition, the Government are maintaining their previously announced policy of not requiring nationals of the former Yugoslavia to return to areas of active conflict.
