§ Mr. MacleanExpenditure on crime prevention activities across Government in 1993–94—the latest period for which the figures are available—was £240 million. Expenditure on specific Home Office crime prevention initiatives in 1994–95 was £18.3 million, an increase of 9.7 per cent. on the previous year.
