§ Mr. Robin SquireThe chairman receives a fee with no element of performance-related pay. The chief executive's contract entitles him to receive a non-pensionable cash bonus; the basis for the determination of the bonus is his personal responsibility plan, which is agreed each year with the chairman. The remuneration of other senior staff includes an element of performance-related pay, as is the case for most senior staff employed by non-departmental public bodies whose terms and conditions are analogous to those of the civil service. The pay and conditions of senior staff are overseen by the board's remuneration committee.
