asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether reports of the acute and chronic toxicity trials of herbicides, systemic insecticides and rodenticides mentioned in paragraph 1 of page 50 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Report on the Animal Health Services in Great Britain 1953 have been published; and, if so, from where can they be obtained.

The Central Veterinary Laboratory's experimental protocols and working reports are no longer available for this period. However, a number of papers arising from this work were published in scientific literature as follows:
