HC Deb 19 June 1995 vol 262 cc44-5W
Mr. Steen

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans she has for changing the arrangements whereby the public is precluded under the amended National Health Service (General Medical and Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 1992 from making representations on appeals against applicants to the pharmaceutical list. [29017]

Mr. Malone

None. Members of the public can make their views known through the community health council which the family health services authority is required by the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 1992 to consult on applications for entry to the pharmaceutical list. Community health councils can also comment on appeals that are made against FHSAs' decisions under the regulations.
