Information collected on deaths reported to coroners is published in an annual Home Office Statistical Bulletin. The latest bulletin "Statistics of Deaths reported to Coroners: England and Wales, 1994", issue 6/95, was published on 20 April 1995 and is available in the Library. This covers information on deaths reported, post-mortems, inquests held and verdicts returned at inquests.
