§ Mr. SackvilleStudies are currently being undertaken within the national health service and associated organisations looking at the numbers and causes of emergency admissions. The NHS Executive will be circulating details of these and will, later this year, be issuing good practice guidance on contracting for emergencies, drawing on the work currently being done in five sites.
