HC Deb 19 June 1995 vol 262 cc85-6W
19. Mr. Mike O'Brien

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what representations he has received from right hon. and hon. Members on(a) the future of the Child Support Agency and (b) the efficiency of its present administration. [27619]

Mr. Burt

I have received a large number of representations from hon. Members over time on all matters relating to the CSA, although in recent months there has been a reduction in the numbers of such representations.

On the future of the agency, I can assure the hon. Member that the agency is here to stay. We shall, of course, continue to monitor and evaluate the effects of the Child Support Act 1991 and continue to listen.
