§ Mr. Robert B. Jones[holding answer 13 June 1995]: Information on the numbers of households which have applied for permanent rehousing under the homelessness legislation and were in temporary accommodation is given in the quarterly information bulletin "Households found accommodation under the homelessness provisions of the Housing Act 1985, England".
The figures cover both households which have been accepted and are waiting for permanent accommodation, and those where inquiries into eligibility are still being carried out.
Copies of the bulletins, the latest of which relates to the fourth quarter of 1994, are in the Library.
