HC Deb 14 June 1995 vol 261 cc588-9W
Mr. Battle

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list all disabled living centres in Scotland; and how much his Department contributes to each of their budgets. [27767]

Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

There are six disabled living centres in Scotland, situated in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Grangemouth, Inverness, Paisley and St. Andrews. As DLCs are locally based, they are eligible to seek financial support from local statutory agencies. I understand that all six DLCs are funded by either local authorities or health boards.
