To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what was the expenditure on general practitioner prescribed anti-asthma medication and preparations in each family health services authority area in Wales, for the last three years for which figures are available; and what was the expenditure per head. The figures show expenditure on bronchodilators, inhaled corticosteroids, cromoglycate and related therapy. Some of these preparations are prescribed for indications other than asthma.
