§ Mr. GoodladWe regard Tibet as autonomous while recognising the special position of the Chinese authorities there. We are deeply concerned about abuses of human rights and the threat to the cultural and ethnic identity of the Tibetans. We regularly raise these matters with the Chinese authorities.
