Members and funded by the office cost allowance had payments made to personal pension providers in each year since 1989; what is the average length of membership of such personal pension schemes for(a) those who have now left their employment in Parliament and (b) those who are still employed in Westminster; and for how many of such members are (i) regular premium payments and (ii) single premium payments made by the House.
§ Mr. NewtonThe number of payments made to personal pension providers on behalf of staff employed by right hon. and hon. Members who are funded from the office costs allowance for the past five financial years is as follows:
- 1990–91: 1,057
- 1991–92: 1,113
- 1992–93: 1,264
- 1993–94: 1,375
- 1994–95: 1,423
