HL Deb 12 June 1995 vol 564 cc101-2WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, and if so on what grounds or by what criteria, they propose to discriminate against, or between, certain opposition groups from the Middle East or North Africa, who visit or reside in the United Kingdom.

The Minister of State, Home Office (Baroness Blatch)

Whether or not the Government agree with the views expressed by such groups, action will be taken against individual members if they break the law or if in the circumstances the use of immigration powers is warranted.
