§ Mr. McGradyTo ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list the firms that were allowed to tender for contracts in spite of non-compliance with the rules of enforcement as laid down in the Fair Employment (Northern Ireland) Act 1989.
§ Mr. AncramWith one exception, all the concerns which have been prosecuted for non-compliance with the fair employment legislation subsequently fulfilled their statutory obligations. It was therefore not necessary to debar them from tendering for contracts. The remaining concern was issued with a disqualification notice on 21 October 1991 which was cancelled on 25 November 1991 following submission to the Fair Employment Commission of a properly completed monitoring return.
