§ Mr. Robert B. JonesCentral Government support comprises support for capital spending as well as revenue spending. The latest available figures for 1994–95 are as follows. Differences between districts' overall level of revenue support depend on a large number of factors including the size of the tax base from which council tax can be raised, as well as the Government's assessment of relative expenditure needs.
