To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is his estimate of the number of jobs that have been created in worker co-operatives in the UK since the passing of the Industrial Common Ownership Act 1976; and what research he has conducted on the survival rate of new start worker co-operatives and on comparisons with the survival rates of traditional forms of small new start business.
