§ Mr. FreemanThere is a continuing programme of improvements to facilities at the Atomic Weapons Establishment at Aldermaston. This includes those in the so-called radioactive waste management area, although waste management as an activity is conducted at various parts of the site. It has been the practice of successive Governments not to disclose the cost of constituent elements of the nuclear warhead programme, although construction of building A91 is the largest single capital cost associated with waste management at AWE.
