HC Deb 06 June 1995 vol 261 cc118-9W
Mrs. Roche

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to his answer of 11 May,Official Report, column 554, on restricted patients with a hospital order sentenced for manslaughter, where each patient is or was detained. [26153]

Mr. Michael Forsyth

Information on all the hospitals in which each patient was detained would involve disproportionate cost. I refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave her on 23 May 1995 at column487, detailing the hospitals to which the patients convicted of manslaughter and given a hospital order were initially admitted. The following table shows the current whereabouts of those patients who were still detained in hospital in December 1994.
