As you know, the Minister for Railways and Roads, Mr. John Watts, has asked me to reply to your Parliamentary Question asking the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to his answer of 15 May, Official Report, column 2, if the M66 has lighting along its entire length.The M66 is a dual 2 lane (and in places dual 3 lane) motorway and 14 of its 16 miles are lit.
