§ Mr. MacleanAt present, information collated on stops and searches distinguishes only between white and ethnic minority persons. Statistics for 1994–95 are not yet available.
I understand that in Scotland there are no common procedures for monitoring the ethnic origin of those people stopped and searched by the police.
