§ Mr. GummerI propose to publish "London: Facts and Figures 1995", later this month. It will provide, in a single source, data on a wide range of London issues and activities.
During the preparation of this publication, we asked our consultants to examine data on public spending and revenues to see if it is possible to calculate the position for London. More work needs to be done before a firm conclusion can be reached and, through the Government office for London, I will be issuing a consultation paper shortly on the subject.
