Mr. Wallace

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if it is his policy to place in the Library copies of all circulars and guidelines issued by his Department to local authorities in Scotland. [35712]

It is not regular policy to place copies of circulars and guidelines issued to local authorities in the Library. These documents are publicly available and may be obtained on request to the Department.

Mr. Raymond S. Robertson

The information is collected biennially. Provisional figures for 1994 are given.
