§ Mr. Robin SquireThe numbers of permanent non-industrial staff on 1 April 1995—before the recent machinery of Government changes—on a head count basis are shown in table 1 for the former Employment Department group and table 2 for the former Department for Education. There are staff in over 118 civil service grades employed in the former ED group and DfE. For convenience, the information has been grouped into grade equivalents.
