§ Mr. Douglas HoggI confirm that the Torry laboratory will be closed in 1996 as previously announced on 6 June,Official Report, columns 1–2, by my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary, then Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food. I will make a further announcement soon on the consequential changes for the work currently undertaken by the laboratory.
