To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what direct or indirect Government funding has been provided to the Civil Liberties Trust for the making and distribution of the video pack for schools entitled "Why Civil Liberties". [35195]

In 1992–93, the latest year for which information has currently been collated, no direct grants were made to the Civil Liberties Trust by a central Government Department. Information for 1993–94 is currently being collated. Records of individual grants made indirectly, for example by non-departmental public bodies, are not kept centrally by this Department.
