To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, pursuant to his answers to the hon. Member for Rother Valley of 10 July,Official Report, columns 459–63, how many appeals to the Secretary of State for permission to create landfill sites have been (a) granted and (b) refused (i) without and (ii) following the holding of a public inquiry in each year since 1991.
