HC Deb 18 July 1995 vol 263 c1115W
Mr. Worthington

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what proposals there are for a rationalisation programme by the removal of school places during the coming school year. [34742]

Mr. Ancram

The education and library boards and the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools have been asked to review the position of all primary schools with an enrolment of fewer than 60 pupils and secondary schools with an enrolment of fewer than 300 pupils.

At present there are no specific proposals for the rationalisation or closure of schools in the coming school year.
