To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 8 December 1994,Official Report columns 346–47, if he will update the figures on trust start up costs. [35589]

The following contributions have been made available for the shadow running periods of NHS trusts established in Wales in 1995:

  • £250,000 to: Cardiff Community Healthcare NHS Trust;
  • University Dental Hospital NHS Trust;
  • University Hospital of Wales Healthcare NHS Trust.
  • £275,000 to: West Wales Ambulance NHS Trust.
  • £75,000: Glan-y-Mor NHS Trust.(1)
