§ Mr. SackvilleMinisters have regular meetings with the chairman of the National Blood Authority. Staffing of the national blood service and details of services provided by each blood centre are a matter for that authority.
The National Blood authority has undertaken a thorough and widespread consultation on its proposals. The authority's revised proposals have recently been submitted and are being studied carefully. An announcement will be made in due course.
