To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff bay development corporation concerning the level of grant-in-aid to South Glamorgan county council for the Butetown link and its intended completion as a fixed-price contract; and if he will make a statement. To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what representations he has received concerning overspending on the Butetown link road; what impact this has had on the calculations of transport supplementary grant; and what amount has been paid under this heading in each financial year during which there has been significant public expenditure on the Butetown link road. I have received no representations. Revisions to the cost of the scheme have been taken into account in the annual transport grant settlement. Grant has been made available as follows:
