992WLetter from D. Grover to Mr. David Chidgey, dated 17 July 1995:
The Secretary of State has asked me, in the absence of the Chief Executive, to reply to your questions concerning the issue of warning letters in respect of actively seeking employment.A warning letter in respect of actively seeking employment is not normally issued before a claim is referred for an adjudication decision. A warning letter is issued only when it is clear that a client has genuinely misunderstood what is expected of them and is in need of further advice on the requirement to actively seek employment.I hope this is helpful.
