§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe amount of uncollected community charge as at 31 March 1995 was £32.5 million. This provisional figure includes £6.6 million written off as bad debts between 1 April 1990 and 31 March 1995 and £25.9 million of cumulative arrears at 31 March 1995. Information on the output of the steel and aerospace industries as a percentage of total manufacturing output is shown in table 1. Information on the coal industry on a comparable basis is not available, but data on the output of coal in tonnes are shown in table 2.
