The cost of initial distribution of the guide to schools, teacher training institutions and local education authorities in England was some £33,500.
670WThe guide, now the responsibility of the Teacher Training Agency, gave details of material available from a wide variety of sources, likely to be of interest to qualified teachers contemplating returning to teaching. The disclaimer explained that while the list of material had been carefully selected, neither the Secretary of State nor the Teacher Training Agency had approved the contents of the individual items.
