(2) if he will make a statement on the application of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 to the ownership or keeping of second or subsequent generation hybrid wolves. [33109]
§ Mr. ClappisonKeeping a wolf or any hybrid wolf requires a licence issued by the local authority under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976. Local authorities may attach to any licence conditions covering accommodation or other issues. They are also empowered to seize any hybrid wolf for which a licence has not been issued or if a condition on a licence is breached. It is for the local authority to decide whether seizure is appropriate in a particular case.
