§ Mr. ClappisonThe documents discussed at the Council were Council working documents and are not depositable. However, some documents were made available to the Select Committee on European Legislation on an informal basis to assist with scrutiny procedures, as no recent depositable texts were available. Of these documents, the French version of one text had earlier been attached to an unnumbered explanatory memorandum for the same reason. The English translation of this text will be submitted to the House under cover of an addendum to the memorandum.
