§ Mr. Kynoch[holding answer 29 June 1995:] The Scottish Office has conducted extensive investigation and is satisfied that the allegations made against the Department by the Channel 4 "Dispatches" programme are unsubstantiated.
The investigation by Strathclyde police into matters arising from the programme is not yet concluded.
