§ Mr. HanleyThe additional applications in question were submitted by the Moroccans last October, before the deadline for multiple application. The Security Council has endorsed a proposal by a recent mission to the Western Sahara by some of its members that the Moroccans should conduct a preliminary vetting of the 100,000. Our ambassador in Rabat has raised the matter with the Moroccan Prime Minister.
