§ Mr. KynochThe Government encourage Scottish Enterprise to work closely with other relevant organisations to create opportunities for enterprise, employment and self-employment in Scotland. Co-operatives have a role to play in this. Any joint activity involving Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Co-operative Development Committee is an operational matter for Scottish Enterprise. I have asked its chairman to write to the hon. Member.
