§ Mr. MacleanThe Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 makes specific provision for research relating to otherwise illegal drugs, such as cannabis, to be undertaken under license. Some licences for research into cannabis are already in existence; any future application for licences will be carefully considered as and when they are received.
