§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 6 July 1995]: The Scottish national blood transfusion service supplies blood and blood products from five regional transfusion centres. The latest information 428W available about the supply of blood to non-NHS hospitals is for 1993–94. This is as follows:
