§ Mr. Robin SquireThe figures requested are only available for maintained secondary schools in England, including grant-maintained schools. The figures given relate to January 1992. On that date, there were 6,300 science teachers with a degree including physics, excluding BEds. This represented 17 per cent. of all science teachers. Separate figures are not available for grant-maintained schools.
