§ Sir Nicholas BonsorWe re-established diplomatic relations with Albania on 29 May 1991. HM ambassador at Rome is accredited to Albania and a charge d'affairs is resident in Tirana. We have told the Albanian Government that we cannot consider opening a full embassy until an outstanding property claim has been settled.
