§ Mr. MaloneThe national health service ethnic health unit was established to work with health authorities and trusts to secure greater benefit for people from ethnic minorities, from the implementation of national and local health strategies. The unit is not responsible for medical education and training. This is a matter for the General Medical Council, the medical royal colleges and the Joint Committee on Postgraduate Training for General Practice.
